The following tasks await you:

As an Embedded Systems Software Developer, you will design and implement custom applications for embedded systems. Your work will focus on image and video processing, as well as hardware-oriented development in the FPGA environment.

You will work with C/C++, C#, Python, Linux, PetaLinux and FPGA-based embedded systems, among other tools.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing custom software solutions in the field of image and video processing
  • Testing, integrating and verifying the developed software within the overall system
  • Designing and further developing library components with a focus on image processing and communication interfaces
  • Integrating and customising Linux on FPGA-based embedded systems using PetaLinux
  • Defining, implementing and documenting software interfaces
  • Low-level programming of FPGA interfaces in C/C++, C# and Python under Linux

What you bring to the table:

  • A successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least five years of professional experience in embedded software development
  • Very strong knowledge of C and C++
  • Very strong knowledge of hardware-related software development
  • Very strong experience working with Linux-based embedded systems
  • Ideally, knowledge of C#, Python, FPGA-based systems and PetaLinux
  • Experience in image processing or industrial communication interfaces is advantageous
  • An analytical and structured approach to work, as well as a strong technical understanding
  • Initiative, a sense of responsibility and a passion for technological challenges
  • Team spirit and motivation to collaborate on developing innovative solutions
